The
sequel to Fuwa Fuwa Panic, this time released on the Bandai Sufami
Turbo
accessory. Sufami Turbo was designed to allow games to be
produced
at a cheaper rate with lower development and production times.
Some
Sufami Turbo games also allowed content sharing between cartridges
since
the unit had two cartridge slots but this wasn't utilized with the
SailorStars
game. This game is yet another quick thinking strategic exercise
that fans of Bust-A-Move will enjoy. Balloons can only be
destroyed
if they are inflated and touching another inflated balloon of the same
color. The more balloons popped at once, the more lead balloons
will
flood your opponents screen. While the action is fast, control is
a little sluggish. This is a bit of a shame since this game is
essentially
the sequel to the far superior Sailor Moon SuperS balloons puzzle
game.
Some of the backgrounds are pretty cool and the over all presentation
is
very nice. However when it comes down to gameplay, I'd much
rather
stick with the SuperS version. I can't put my finger on it but
something
just doesn't feel right about this game, something that the SuperS
version
nailed.

| The character selection screen is nice but why not feature everyone from the previous game as well? | I really do love the background on Sailor Venus' stage, it's a Three Lights concert. |

| Single player challenge modes are back and this time they can be very challenging indeed. | For the most part though, it's a game we've already seen. Did this really need a sequel? |
Let's
book it!
